Guy Ritchie, the director, has some incredible films. Most notable are Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Snatch. They are hard R rated, though.
I loved the Man from UNCLE, but I have a hard time with the ending. It seemed to me that the movie could have wrapped up 20 minutes earlier, with some simply conclusions rather than the big mystery stuff all of a sudden.
My wife and daughter love this movie. 😀
What is the next one, the woman from A.U.N.T. ?
Lol, I honestly think they intended to make a sequel but it never got off the ground.
Ever watched Grave Of The Fireflies?
I have not, I have heard of it though. I hear it’s really depressing.
It is indeed, but also quite good.
I'm Team Armie - he was lovely in this, and I reckon I'm about due a rewatch. Thank you
Thank you for reading! I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Not to mention directing “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” and both RDJ Holmes films, all of which were brilliant.
I did not realize he did the RDJ films. Makes way more sense. He did a version of Arthurian legend that is not great, but I really liked it.
Another one that I was pleasantly surprised by. Great movie ❤️
Same! Henry Cavill was made to be Bond, I tell ya. This film only cemented that opinion for me.
💯 — Him and Armie Hammer had great chemistry too.
Absolutely. The casting was spot on.
Another film to add to my To Be Watched pile!
I still don’t know how I missed it. It really does play like a classic Bond film which is very refreshing to see. And immensely entertaining.
Fun fact: The character of Napoleon Solo was created by Ian Fleming, so he's LITERALLY the American version of James Bond.
I read that in the trivia! Sort of a Bond fan fiction, in a way. Nice to see it had Ian Fleming’s blessing (and it shows).
