A true spitfire who protects and perseveres through the hardest of times. She’s tough but lovable, and just the kind of person you would want by your side in a fight.
If there’s one movie mom that reminds me of my own mother the most, it’s Molly Weasley. Like every great mom, she bends over backwards to help her children, and she’s happy to do it. But it’s not just about the love she gives them (which is unending and unconditional), she supports them and guides them.
She’s resourceful and headstrong, a real powerhouse. You sort of need to be when you’re raising that many kids on a tight budget. But she never lets it rattle her. She’s a kind soul, always willing to do whatever it takes, but she’s also not afraid of confrontation if it’s necessary. She has quiet bravery, not shy, merely reserved.
She was born for the role of motherhood, extending it without a second thought to Harry and Hermione, even butting heads with other adults sometimes to protect the young.
And, though she has nothing but love and devotion for each of her children, she doesn’t let any of them take advantage of her either (she is a red head after all) fully prepared to bring out the mama bear when she thinks the situation calls for it. She’s enormously patient and gracious, always seeing the good in her children no matter how they treat her. And should a person hurt (or even threaten) any one of them, she is fully prepared to slay them where they stand by any means necessary, without hesitation.
When it comes to her husband Arthur, though his obsession with muggles drives her crazy sometimes (especially when that obsession might endanger their children), she can't imagine life without him, completely devoted and head over heels.
A warrior in her own right, her battlefield is the world, and she is the fierce and fiery protector.

I was never a huge fan of the Potter books, but I found some really cool characters there. I had never thought of Molly Weasley in any great detail until now. Thanks for writing this!
